This spring, I will be running the Path of Hope 5K in honor of my dad, who continues to fight his battle with brain cancer everyday.
In October of 2019, my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a complex + extremely aggressive form of brain cancer. This was a complete shock to our family as he never had any health issues before this. Not knowing what our next steps would be, we knew from that point on we needed to come together as a family and be his rock of strength.
Throughout these past 28 months, he has undergone brain surgery in NYC, with numerous radiation & chemo treatments that followed. He has never once lost his sense of hope - and neither will we.
My dad is the strongest person I have ever met, and will continue to defy the odds and win this battle.
Not only am I Daddy’s little girl forever, but also the proudest daughter in the world.
Please help me support the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will help ensure better treatments, a better quality of life, and cures for brain tumor patients.
Together, we can make a difference. Thank you all 🤍 xo
