Christopher Podkowiak is an amazing father, husband, and friend. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in November of 2025, and has since been fighting strong against it. It’s wild how quickly things can change, but Chris hasn’t let it stop him from doing the things he loves such as painting and playing music, even with some limited mobility. Regardless of life’s obstacles, he and all of us choose to see the positivity every day.

We hope you enjoy our team name, as well; it’s a tribute to the great sense of humor Chris has (although he’s sometimes quiet, he’s really just laughing at his own jokes he’s thinking of), and we would be delighted to see you at the 5K to walk or run, or even just to observe!
