Team Pace au Bordé

Please help us support Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance by making a contribution to our team and sharing this page with your family and friends. Pace means peace in Italian and au Bordé translates to at the edge often referring to the edge of the water. To me, it's the perfect partnership for anyone battling a brain tumor to have "peace at the edge". When you're faced with being at the edge of your health you walk each day trying not to slip off. Yet, it's so important to remain calm and peaceful to reduce stress and encourage healing to beat the tumor. This is my 20th year walking this walk and there was a time when I didn't know if I would make it one year. I was committed to making it at least one and so many more because I believed I was not finished with my work here with my family. Each day hasn't been a walk in the park, but no matter what I keep putting one foot in front of the other even when it's hard to do. This year I am walking in support of Nanci Bordé (pictured above with her husband and above with her family doing a polar plunge) as she walks her first walk and I am walking in memory of my younger brother Mike who passed away late in 2025. I know he will be with us every step of the way.

Together, we can make a difference!
