This September, I’m proud to participate in the Brainstormin' event in support of the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance - an organization that means so much to my family. I’ll be fundraising in honor of my dad, who continues to fight glioblastoma with incredible strength and resilience every day.

In fall of 2019, after suffering a sudden seizure while golfing, my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. What followed were surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and countless challenges - but through it all, he has continued to choose hope and keep fighting.

This October marks seven years since his diagnosis - seven years of courage, perseverance, and defying the odds. One of the greatest gifts during this journey was having him walk me down the aisle on my wedding day, a moment that once felt uncertain and is now one of my most cherished memories.
