After being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2008 and undergoing five surgeries and one gamma knife surgery, my life changed, but for the better. I did not believe or realize it at the time, but everything has lead me to this point - being an advocate for the brain tumor community. The Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance helped me immensely in my journey and I have made it my objective to pay it forward and help as many patients and families as I can.
