I was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme in mid-April of 2022, underwent a successful surgery to remove the tumor, and completed a six week course of daily chemo and radiation therapies. I am grateful for the excellent medical care I have received thus far, and honored to have been selected to receive the June Rice Courage Award from the CT Brain Tumor Alliance, an organization dedicated to improving brain tumor awareness, quality of care, and brain tumor research.
