At just 10 months old, Eric was diagnosed at YNHH with stage 4 neuroblastoma. Over the next several years an incredible team treated his cancer with a number of aggressive therapies including radiation and he remains cancer free! 27 years later, in January of this year, Eric was diagnosed with a type two meningioma brain tumor. The most likely cause of this tumor was the very treatment that saved his life as a child. We feel truly blessed that another amazing team from Yale has been treating Eric with the utmost care. This is why we are happy to help CTBTA raise awareness and funds to support others who are facing similar challenges and the dedicated people who treat them. Since his surgery and rehabilitation, Eric has returned to work (Russell's Carpet) and is doing the things he loves most including photography, astronomy, biking, camping and fishing. Of course we would be remiss if we didn't acknowledge our entire family and many friends who have helped us through another difficult journey- thank you! Please join us in supporting the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance.
