As most of you know I was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma stage 4 brain tumor in Sept 2020 and it changed my life and those lives close to me. We did not see it coming and felt really unprepared for the journey ahead. Thankfully, we have been surrounded by support from family and friends, and experts in the field at Yale New Haven Cancer Center. I am considered one of the lucky ones, being able to continue to work and enjoy my favorite activities even through treatments, but that is not case for everybody. Everyone that is diagnosed with this disease seems affected differently. There is still so much that is not understood about this ailment and much more work needs to be done.
With that in mind, please join me in helping the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance to increase awareness and help fundraise for much needed research. You can help by joining my team, making a contribution, and sharing this page with your family and friends. Big or small, your support will help advance the CTBTA's great cause!
